Are the Braves the hottest team in baseball?

Great question. That’s why I asked it. Do the Atlanta Braves have the longest streak in the National League right now with 6 wins in a row? Yes! Hold it right there. The Cleveland Indians have also won 6 games in a row. They are without a doubt riding a very hot winning streak. I know this, I cover MLB. I read the statistics, scores, and box scores every morning. It is part of my mornings. Coffee, walking, eating, and finally reading baseball stats. My quiet bible and prayer time also.

If you have watched every single Braves games this year, you have to be at the very least excited! Coming of back to back series sweeps is cause for excitement. The Braves have swept the Padres an in Atlanta and then they took a road trip to Philadelphia and swept the Phillies up there to. The Braves are traveling to Washington  for a series against the Nationals today. The first pitch is at 4:40pm. The Nationals are first in the National Leage East and although they have lost 2 games in a row, they still have a comfortable lead over the New York Mets with an 8.5 games. The Braves are 25.5 back in the NL East.

But do not hang your heads too low Braves fans, although the Braves can possibly catch up to the Nationals, it’s a very long shot. Instead the Braves are only 18 games back to get the 2nd wild card in the Natioanl League. The Braves have been playing  well with their pitching staff finally coming together and their line up hitting great from top to bottom, it could possibly happen. The Braves have 25 regular season games left in the 2016 season. It could feasibly happen!
