Watching highlights of last night’s game was like watching batting practice for the Mets. 3 huge home run and then the Mets bullpen took over. Shutting down the Reds after Duvall’s home run. The Mets are 8.5 games back of the division leading Washington Nationals. The Mets are 7-3 in their last 10 games gaining ground on the Nationals. The Mets are hot at the right time. If they continue playing like they have been, they will punch their ticket to the National League play offs in October. A wild card berth would be nice, but the Mets are after the division title in the NL East!
